Two-year-old Critique, a Xavier Bloodstock yearling purchase for owner Paul Pompa Jr., broke her maiden in her 2nd career start in a race at Saratoga on September 4th, and she did it in impressive fashion. She dominated the field easily after taking over at the three-eighth's pole, ultimately winning by 16 lengths in a 7-furlong dirt race.

Critique finished 2nd in her racing debut on August 13th. She currently holds a record of 2-1-1-0.

Xavier International Bloodstock purchased her as a yearling at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton July Yearling sale for $155,000.

She is by Midnight Lute, out of Bemused, and is trained by Todd Pletcher.
