Three-year-old Connect, a Xavier Bloodstock recommended purchase, continued to bolster his resume by winning the G1 Cigar Mile at Aqueduct on November 26th.

This win comes two months after Connect's impressive victory in the $1.25 Million G2 Pennsylvania Derby – a race in which he defeated Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist, multiple graded stakes winner Gun Runner, and Preakness and Haskell winner Exaggerator.

Xavier recommended the purchase of Connect at the 2014 Fasig-Tipton July Sale to owner Paul Pompa Jr., who purchased the yearling for $150,000.

Connect has gone on to earn $1,244,000 as a three-year-old. In 2016, he has won 5 of his 6 starts, including 3 stakes wins. His first stakes win came in July, when he won the Curlin Stakes at Saratoga.

He is by Curlin and out of Bullville Belle, and is trained by Chad Brown.
