Connect, the three-year-old son of Curlin, made his father proud by winning the Curlin Stakes in impressive fashion on July 29th in Saratoga, adding black-type to his record and marking his third win in a row.

Connect held an early lead and fought gamely in the stretch as he was pressured by Gift Box. Connect responded well to the challenge, fighting him off and nabbing the one-length win. He finished the one and one-eighth mile dirt race in 1:48.69.

The win brings his record to 4-3-0-1 in his young career, and he is undefeated as a three-year-old (3-3-0-0). Xavier Bloodstock purchased Connect as a yearling for owner Paul Pompa Jr.

He is by Curlin and out of Bullville Belle, and is trained by Chad Brown. If he remains healthy, he will be pointed towards the G1 Travers Stakes on August 27th at Saratoga.
